Encontro 

 Encontro officially called the “Encontro das Comunidades Macaense”, the meetings are organized by the Conselho das Comunidades Macaenses (CCM), the Associacao dos Macaenses (ADM), and the Instituto Internacional de Macau (IIM), with the assistance of other associations and government entities. There have been nine meetings since the first one in 1993. The meetings occur every three years and have always met in Macao.

Every three years Macanese from abroad are invited back to Macao for a week of planned events, tours, and cultural connection.
